Recently one of my posts featured the Italian Provincial series, so I thought it only fitting to now move the spotlight over to their more lavish counterparts.

THE ESCORT 

It is my life's mission to find out the name of the gentleman. He is often referred to as just that..."The Gentleman", or sometimes, "The Escort". But surely he would have a proper name just like the other members in his group, and that of the male (Antonio) in the Provincial series.

Yet, it remains quite the little mystery. I have seen him for sale several times, and not one of the dolls I have come across has ever had a name tag. And of course it is not featured in any of the Josef price guides.

I imagine it to be something like "Andre" or "Frederick."

The names of all the ladies were at one time elusive to me as well, and those, thankfully, are now closed cases. So, I'm confident that before I die, I will know The Escort's true identity.

If not, someone is going to have a very angry looking corpse on their hands.
